The black dragon [Guernian], who once fought against the gods, has fallen. From the rift he fled to before his death, an unholy energy has spread across the world, causing life to undergo strange mutations. People call it Corruption and live in fear, yet few know its true origin or the extent of its power.

You are an immortal warrior, a “Successor”, chosen by the god of light [Lu], the god of fire [Ashuran], and the god of water [Harnia].

When you fall in battle, you return to the origin of your lineage and resurrect, growing stronger through the experience, equipment, and rune power you gather along the way. Upon arriving at Cliffshire, a city of light, the Successors must head to a cemetery where demons are said to manifest and follow the clues to cleanse the distorted world.

The game unfolds as a 2D platformer that requires precise dodging and breaking enemy patterns. Each area features a multi-layered structure interconnected both vertically and horizontally, regenerated in roguelite fashion with different terrain, monster placements, and loot composition in every run.

When you die, you lose your gold and temporary upgrades, but your equipment and runes remain permanently and form the foundation for the next cycle. By defeating bosses, you obtain rune stones that can be used to craft or awaken legendary gear. Artifacts discovered during exploration can grant powerful blessings or dangerous curses depending on their combinations, adding a new layer of tactical tension to every playthrough.

Corrupted enemies are gradually expanding their territory, threatening nearby regions. Amid this chaos, the Black Dawn leads the Corruption from the shadows, though its true purpose remains a mystery.

Legend says that only by destroying the [Guernians] can the lost order be restored. Yet the deeper you explore, the more doubts arise about the truth of this belief. The closer you get to the citadel, the more you uncover the great secret that has brought the world to its knees.
