The versatile Joy-Con controllers offer different ways to play and provide flexible control options depending on the game. They can be used independently, one in each hand, or together as a single game controller when attached to the Joy-Con Grip.

The Joy-Con controllers can also be attached directly to the Nintendo Switch console for handheld play. For games that support two players, simply share one Joy-Con with a friend and enjoy playing together.

Each Joy-Con features its own complete set of buttons and can be used as a standalone controller. A built-in accelerometer and gyroscope sensor provide motion sensing and enable independent motion control with the left and right Joy-Con.
