The THRUSTMASTER TH8A SHIFTER ADD-ON is a premium gear shifter designed for realistic and precise gear changes in racing simulators. Featuring an all-metal mechanism, H.E.A.R.T magnetic technology and two shifting modes, it delivers an authentic driving experience on PC, PlayStation and Xbox gaming consoles.

Key Features:

  • Two shifting modes: traditional H-pattern shifting with seven forward gears and reverse (7+1), plus sequential shifting (+/-). Two interchangeable shift plates are included.

  • Metal construction: the internal mechanism, gear stick and clamping system are made entirely of metal, providing strength and stability.

  • H.E.A.R.T technology: contactless magnetic HallEffect AccuRate Technology sensors deliver high precision without mechanical sensor wear. The system uses no mechanical switches or potentiometers.

  • Realistic shifting feel: the 13 cm tall gear stick provides an authentic gear-shifting experience. Its detachable knob is compatible with universal gear knobs used in real cars.

  • Adjustable shifting resistance: gear-shifting resistance can be adjusted to suit personal preferences and driving style.

  • Advanced customisation: adjustable gear-shift travel via PC software, internal memory and upgradeable firmware.

  • Versatile mounting: the clamping system supports installation on tables and shelves from 1 to 55 mm thick, as well as racing cockpits. The clamp's position and rotation are adjustable, with 360° rotation available.

  • USB and DIN connectivity: enables connection to compatible computers and racing wheels.

Compatibility:

  • PC: compatible with all racing wheels on the market. Listed support for Windows 7, 8 and 10.

  • PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4: compatible with supported Thrustmaster racing wheels.

  • Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One: compatible with supported Thrustmaster racing wheels.

Compatibility on gaming consoles depends on the racing wheel model, connection method and support provided by individual games.
