Description
Add a little New Year’s fireworks show to your Deck with Yu-Gi-Oh! Burst Protocol! Rokkets return in this set, alongside the latest Forbidden Quick-Play Spell Card – Forbidden Crown.
Forbidden Crown is the sixth card in the Forbidden series and offers a wide range of effects. For the rest of the turn, the selected monster has its effects negated and cannot attack, while it also cannot be destroyed, is unaffected by other card effects, and cannot be Tributed or used as Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Material. Since it can be used on either turn, it offers numerous possibilities for both offensive and defensive strategies.
The Darklords are also back. Darklord Dance allows you to Fusion Summon Darklord Eveningstar or another DARK Fairy using materials from the hand, field, or Graveyard. When Summoned, Darklord Eveningstar can Set a Darklord Spell and Trap directly from the Deck and can reuse the effects of Darklord Spells and Traps in the Graveyard.
The Rokket strategy returns with brand-new monsters inspired by Varis’ strategy from Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS. The set also introduces a new Link-5 Borrel Monster that can join the mighty Borrelend Dragon in your Extra Deck.
Burst Protocol also introduces new Magistus cards. Spenta, the Magistus Sealer makes its debut, alongside the Fusion Monster Invoked Magistus Omega.
Another new addition is Mercurium the Living Quicksilver, a Rank 10 Aqua/DARK Xyz Monster with 3000 ATK and 3000 DEF. When Xyz Summoned, it can attach a monster directly from your Deck to itself as material, while its effect can prevent your opponent from activating certain monster effects in their Graveyard.
The set also introduces a brand-new World Premiere theme involving scientists and dinosaurs.
Burst Protocol contains:
- 10 Secret Rares
- 14 Ultra Rares
- 26 Super Rares
- 50 Commons
- 25 cards are also available as Starlight Rares
